1 inmate caught, second still at large after escaping northwest Ohio prison

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — One of two escaped inmates has been captured after escaping from a northwest Ohio prison.
The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction said Bradley Gillespie, 50, and James Lee, 47, escaped from Allen/Oakwood Correctional Institution in Lima, Ohio on Monday.

They were both last seen on camera over 24 hours before they were noticed missing.
Gillespie was convicted of murder in Paulding County and Lee was convicted of burglary, breaking and entering, and safecracking in Allen and Auglaize Counties.
At a press conference Tuesday evening, officials said the pair was last seen on camera at 8:41 a.m. on Monday. Prison officials noticed they were missing at the 11 a.m. count the next day.
On Wednesday morning, the Henderson Police Department said they found a stolen vehicle which they believed was occupied by Gillespie and Lee.
Officers initiated a traffic stop and the vehicle attempted to flee. The car wrecked after police pursued it and the two occupants fled on foot.

Police said Lee was arrested but Gillespie is on the run.
