‘Big Bang Theory’ star Kaley Cuoco has 1st baby with Tom Pelphrey

The Big Bang Theory actress, 37, and her partner Tom Pelphery have welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey.

Cuoco announced she gave birth to baby Matilda on March 30, 2023 as she posted shots of her bundle of joy on her Instagram on Sunday.

‘3-30-23,’ she began in the post with heart emojis. ‘Introducing, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, the new light of our lives! We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle.

‘Thank you to the doctors , nurses , family and friends who have helped us immensely over the last few days. We are blessed beyond belief.

‘@tommypelphrey didn’t think I could fall even more in love with you , but I did.’

Kaley announced her pregnancy back in October, writing on Instagram: ‘Baby girl Pelphrey coming 2023 beyond blessed and over the moon… I [heart] you @tommypelphrey !!!’

The performer previously spoke to Entertainment Tonight and stated that she was not reading up on parenting techniques prior to the birth of her child.

‘I have no plan and I’ve read zero books so that’s the type of mom I will be.

‘All the ways I’m not like a prepper. I’m just not that way. It’s gonna be great, I trust the process,’ she said.

Cuoco also expressed that her mother was particularly excited about the prospect of becoming a grandmother.

‘My mom is amazing. She has honestly been waiting on a grandchild for, like, 20 years. So she’s absolutely thrilled,’ she said.

Kaley and Tom met at a premiere after being set up by their agent in April 2022. They made their relationship Instagram official a month later.

Describing the first time she met Tom as ‘love at first sight’, Kaley told USA Today: ‘We have the same manager [Andrea Pett-Joseph], and we were set up by [her], which is so Hollywood. She’s like, “Oh my God, I think you guys are perfect for each other.”‘
