Bomb threat note found by Bull Run Middle School teacher, students evacuated

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (7News) — Prince William County Police Department responded to a reported bomb threat at Bull Run Middle School in Gainesville, Va. Friday morning.



Officers responded to the school after a teacher found a note with a bomb threat posted on a door of the school.
Students and staff were evacuated and students were relocated to Battlefield High School.
Police say they searched the building and nothing of concern was located but the area around the school will remain closed as the investigation continues.
A Prince William County police K-9 also responded to assist in the search. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police.
On Thursday, A Clarksburg High school student was charged after prompting three lockdowns at three Montgomery County schools Wednesday.
