A man and a woman, both from Tennessee and both 33 years old, were killed in this Christmas Day crash, according to the THP report, which identifies them as Dustin Dillard and Brittany Dillard.
That report says 3 children were also in the Dillard’s Jeep Wagoneer SUV when it crashed. All three kids were restrained and were hurt, but all three survived. (The THP report did not list the children’s ages). Right now, we do not know their current conditions.
Charges are pending against the driver of an Isuzu Ascender SUV, 42-year-old Patrick Conley, according to the report.
Investigators say Conley was heading west when he “traveled off the left side of the roadway into the median.”
He then went into the eastbound lane and hit the Dillard’s SUV head-on. Conley was also injured.
We’re working to learn more details, including what specific charges Conley is facing.
Bradley County Schools tweeted “Please continue to keep the Dillard Family in your thoughts and prayers. We are heartbroken for their loss.”
We are working to confirm more details, including funeral information.
Depend on us to update this story when we learn more.
