Crews battling industrial building fire in Manitowoc

MANITOWOC (WLUK) — Crews are battling a fire in Manitowoc.
The call came in around 3:20 a.m. Wednesday for a structure fire at 102 Revere Drive.
The building is mainly used for storage such as vehicles and other rented equipment.

Manitowoc Fire Chief Todd Blaser says when crews arrived on scene, the fire had spread throughout the structure, adding the fire may have went undetected for a a good amount of time.

Multiple fire departments are on scene and the fire is considered contained. Because it’s an inactive storage building, there are no concerns of air quality or water contamination.

Right now, 21st Street is closed, so Chief Blaser suggests those going to work to take alternate routes. As the morning goes on, he expects the road to reopen.
No injuries have been reported.
