Five kids all related to each other were killed in a fiery car crash in Scarsdale early Sunday — with the sole survivor a 9-year-old boy who was riding in the back trunk area, cops and kin said.

A 16-year-old boy was driving the group of siblings and cousins home from the mall when he lost control of the Nissan Rogue on the Hutchinson River Parkway just past the exit for Mamaroneck Road in Westchester County around 12:30 a.m. and crashed into a tree, sending the SUV bursting into flames, according to police and family to ABC.
The teen driver may have fallen asleep at the wheel, the outlet said.
Killed were the driver, three other boys and a girl — all ages 8 to 17 and from the small town of Derby, Conn., outside of Hartford, authorities said.
“Lord Jesus I don’t understand why you had to take our babies from us,” Nicole Cross, who said she is the mother of at least some of the young victims, wrote in a heart-wrenching Facebook post Sunday.
“Please give us the strength Lord God,” Cross said. “These kids didn’t deserve this like why is this happening please keep my family in your prayers…. don’t know what to do or how to handle this God please help us.”

“Six kids where [sic] in the car only one survived the pain we are feeling words can even express and we wouldn’t with this to happen to anyone in this world,” Billips said.
A gofundme.com page was created Sunday to raise money “to help bury our children” and for “giving them a great home going service.”

Westchester Police spokesmanKieran O’Leary described the horrific accident to The Post.
“A short distance past [the exit], the vehicle strikes this tree and catches fire,” he said.
The 9-year-old boy who survived the crash was sitting in the vehicle’s cargo area at the time, the rep said.
“He got out the back somehow,” O’Leary said.
The others died in the vehicle, police said.
“They’re all either teenagers or less, sadly,” O’Leary said.
The 9-year-old was taken to Westchester Medical Center for treatment to his injuries and was in stable condition.
