HPD: Off-duty officer in critical condition after crash involving train
This happened just after 9 a.m. on Fulton Street east of the North Freeway and north of the 610 North Loop.
HOUSTON — An off-duty police officer was involved in a crash with a train in north Houston Wednesday morning, according to the Houston Police Department.
Vehicular Crimes officers are on scene of a train vs car crash at 6700 Fulton St.
One motorist, an HPD officer reporting to work, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital in the med center in critical condition.

This happened just after 9 a.m. on Fulton Street east of the North Freeway and north of 610 North Loop.
Houston police said the off-duty officer, who was on their way to work, was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
No other details have been released. HPD Chief Troy Finner said there will be an update at the hospital at 10:30 a.m.
