Schools around southeastern Wisconsin received threats of an active shooter Wednesday morning.

Reports and scanner traffic started coming in about a threat around 8 a.m. Thursday of a threat at Bradford High School.

Kenosha police say there is no evidence of an active shooter at Bradford High School.

Kenosha police asked parents to not come to the school as they searched the property. Around 9 a.m., police gave the “all clear” sign.

LakeView Technology Academy was also put on lockdown because of an active shooter report.

The Pleasant Prairie Police Department also gave the “all clear” at that school.

No active shooters or threats of any kind were found during the sweep of the building, the district said in a note to parents.

In Milwaukee, police said Rufus King got a claim of an active shooter just before 9 a.m. Officers responded and found no active shooter. “At this time, there is no known threat. MPD continues to seek the unknown caller,” police said.




Franklin police also received a call Thursday morning about a threat at the high school. No credible threat was found.

Racine police said they received a call at about 8:23 a.m. from a person claiming to be a teacher at Park High School and that there is an active shooter in the school and 156 students had been shot.

The building was cleared, and no active shooter or injured students were found.

Port Washington police were also called to the high school for a report of an active shooter, but no evidence of a shooter was found.

We also received reports of threats at South Milwaukee and Grafton high schools. We is working to confirm these reports.
