Police looking for missing teen out of Alabama, family lists Atlanta and Smyrna as areas to watch

The Jacksonville Police Department in Alabama is asking for your help to find a 14-year-old girl who they say could be in the Atlanta or Smyrna area.

JPD said Leah McDonald was last seen on May 14, in the area of High Street in Jackson, Alabama and she has not returned.

Police said the U.S. Marshall is assisting them to help get McDonald back home.




McDonald’s photo has been circulating on social media for days.

Her family and friends listed a few areas to watch, including Atlanta and Smyrna, Georgia.

The following flyers have been posted on social media.

McDonald was last seen wearing a black shirt, brown shorts, and blue sneakers. Police said she may be traveling in a white car with a Florida tag.

She is 5′5, with black hair and brown eyes.

Channel 2 Action News reached out to Atlanta police but they have not confirmed they are looking for her.
