Police searching for missing 8-year-old Luther girl who is hearing impaired

Police told KOCO 5 that they are conducting a search in a rural area just west of Luther.

LUTHER, Okla. – Law enforcement is searching for an 8-year-old hearing-impaired girl who went missing Friday in Luther.

Police said they are searching for Alexandria “Alex” Jones. She was last seen wearing gold shorts, a white tank top with flowers, a black cardigan and no shoes. She also wears a hearing aid.

Luther police said Jones is missing from Peebly Road, but they are unsure of which direction she went. They are searching for her in a rural area just west of Luther.

Authorities from neighboring law enforcement agencies, including the Oklahoma City Police Department, have joined in the search.

Anyone with information about her location is asked to call 911 immediately.
