Reports of shots fired at Kennywood Park; police on the scene
WEST MIFFLIN, Pa. — A large emergency response was reported at Kennywood Park in West Mifflin late Saturday evening.

Heavy police presence was seen late Saturday outside of Kennywood Park in West Mifflin in response to a report of a “mass casualty incident.” WPXI
Allegheny County Dispatch confirms EMS activity at Kennywood Park at around 10:51 p.m. Saturday evening.
Allegheny County Police also confirm they are responding, though details are very limited at this time.
Several police and first responder vehicles were seen lining Rte. 837 outside of the park as of 11:30.
A significant police presence was seen outside of Kennywood Park late Saturday night after reports of shots fired, according to Tribune-Review news partner WPXI.
WPXI reports a “mass casualty incident” has been declared and all available emergency crews from Allegheny and Westmoreland counties have been dispatched to the scene. There is also state police presence.
At least one ambulance was seen leaving the park with lights flashing, WPXI reports.
An Allegheny County dispatcher confirmed there is “an incident” at the park, but could not provide any more information.

Kennywood’s Phantom Fall Fest was scheduled from noon to 11 p.m. Saturday.
