Teen, 14, killed, woman, 39, injured in overnight double shooting in Brockton, Massachusetts

BROCKTON, Mass. —A 14-year-old boy is dead Tuesday in an overnight double shooting that also left a woman injured in Brockton, Massachusetts, according to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office.

At approximately 1:55 a.m. Tuesday, Brockton police received a 911 call for a report of a shooting at 93 Tribou St.

Upon arrival, they found the teen and a 39-year-old woman with apparent gunshot wounds, investigators said. The teen was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital, where he was pronounced dead of his injuries.

The woman was taken to Boston Medical Center, where she is in critical condition.

A suspect has been taken into custody, investigators said.

The shooting is under investigation.
