UPDATES: One person is dead and another hospitalized after a construction accident in the Seaport
BOSTON — One person is dead and another person is hospitalized following a construction accident in the Seaport early Thursday morning.
Several emergency crews are on the scene at 65 Northern Avenue after reports of a fatal construction accident shortly before 6:00 a.m.
Few details were released about the incident but according to officials, the construction worker has died and another has been hospitalized with serious injuries.
Boston Police say the homicide unit along with OSHA has been requested to help assist with the investigation.
No other information is available at this point in the investigation.
