WATCH: Firefighters battling fire at Suffolk Downs
BOSTON — Boston firefighters are currently battling a multi-alarm fire at Suffolk Downs.
The fire is in the “roof area” with “heavy smoke conditions throughout the building” according to a post to the department’s Twitter page.

All firefighters were ordered off the roof, according to the Boston Fire Department. A Boston 25 News crew captured images of the Boston Fire Department attacking the fire from above using ladder trucks.

“Companies are relay pumping to supply water to the fire” Boston Fire posted in a tweet, adding that this was due to a “limited water supply in the area.”
